I can’t help but think that the solution to the current “but employers shouldn’t have to cover X” discussion is to decouple health care in America from employee compensation. Employers shouldn’t have to cover the cost of health care for employers, and if we had single payer care, then it would be.
That way the old men of the catholic church could go back to protecting serial rapists and leave the rest of us alone.
