Dinner tonight was Beef Stroganoff with fresh buttered noodles. Not a bad dinner based on what we happened to have in the house.
We’re winding down for Christmas. No traveling this year, for which I am more grateful than I can express. I’m telling clients I’m only handling emergencies between Christmas and New Year’s and most of my regulars are off all this week. I’m so looking forward to some time to decompress and recharge. The last few months have really been mere survival: one foot in front of the other. I’m looking forward to a few day to relax and complete some projects (clean the garage, catch up with those weird bits of laundry, build up a library of work blog posts) that have been hanging over my head for ages. And maybe some Warcraft.
Christmast shopping is almost done. Dad’s present isn’t going to be solved without involvement of Dad, though, but I will tackle that tomorrow.
This weekend we saw the SF Ballet presentation of Nutcracker, which was both very different from the one we work and surprisingly similar. A fun night in the city, despite the 1 1/2 hour traffic jam to get there and rain. Have I mentioned it’s raining? Rain. Rain. More rain.
