Wings recipe

Noting it here. It’s too warm today to be running the oven (Yay! 90’s!!) but these look so awesome, I don’t want to lose the recipe.

    Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

    15 chicken wings, trimmed into pieces
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    ¼ cup honey
    2 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
    4 cloves minced garlic
    3 Tbsp olive oil
    1 tsp powdered ginger
    ½ tsp Tabasco sauce
    1 tsp salt
    ½ tsp ground black pepper


    Preheat oven to 350F. Put a large frying pan (or a wok if you have one) on medium-high heat and add the oil. When the oil is hot, add the garlic, salt and pepper and cook for about 15 seconds. Add the wings and cook, stirring frequently, until the chicken skin starts to brown.

    Pour in the liquids and turn the heat down to medium-low. Cover and cook 20 minutes, or until the meat on the wings has cooked through. Stir occasionally.

    When the chicken is cooked, remove from the pan and place into a casserole dish in the oven. While the wings are baking, turn the heat back up and cook until the sauce has thickened down to a glaze. You’ll want to stir frequently to make sure nothing burns. When the sauce has been reduced to a very thick texture, remove the wings from the oven, turn off the heat under the sauce and toss the wings in the sauce.
