A friend of ours is traveling and posted a picture on FB of a yummy looking cocktail she had in IAH. Rum, lime bitters, honey and prosecco. Well, that sounds good.
Of course, we don’t have lime bitters, so we made a few changes. Rum, plum bitters and sweet cuvee champagne. It’s really good. We used an aged rum, that’s a bit sweet. A couple drops plum bitters and topped it off with the champagne. It’s a bit spicy and warming and generally a good thing.
I also took some of our old blue cheese and made crackers to have with the cocktail.
